Open daily 9am – 4pm The Cornish Maid is a great little village café in which to grab a coffee, sandwich and other tempting delights. Ask for Sarah, and then ask Sarah what is going on locally, she is the fountain of all knowledge. Seasonal crab sandwiches are a highlight.
The ‘local’ – The Red Lion serves food daily. Ring them for seasonal opening times although it’s probably quicker to pop in given it is only 75 yards from the house. They often show sport, particularly football, or you can hide away from that in one of the many snug rooms.
Delightful village restaurant run by Juan and his wife Erica, serving up Mediterranean dishes either as tapas or main courses. Juan is from the Canary Islands so his food is authentic and delicious; the calamari are particularly good. Find it in tucked in the corner of the Square – there is a signpost at the entrance to the Square.
